A cinema chain with over 110 theatres, Kinepolis approached IMAGINIF because they needed help.
They wanted to increase sales in their cinemas across Europe without boosting ticket prices.
With extensive consumer knowledge, we observed customers and came up with a new sales strategy. Targeting extras and snack sales. (This was several years ago when cinema snacks were limited).
So we created custom-made snacks to represent the current big hits and seasonal movies. The key idea was to build an atmosphere and create an immersive movie experience.
The change in packaging and the addition of limited edition themed snacks was very successful, significantly increasing sales for Kinepolis.
