The distributor of Battard food products redesigned its supermarkets with the help of IMAGINIF. We decided to follow Battard customers on their route through the shop, stimulating their buying impulses and helping them decide to buy. We designed a layout with multifunctional fittings that both contained the merchandise, guided the shopper and gave them ideas for menus.
Makro changed it’s jewelry and watch department to selfservice. IMAGINIF’s contribution involved the whole of the department: the fittings, the furniture, the process of purchasing, the entire retail experience. Our analysis was clear: we needed to imbue a level of emotionality into the shopping environment. We deigned the furnishing, and rethought the product display creating a special atmosphere. The result: a beacon department for Makro department stores.
