CLASSIC CAR CAMPUS - AN OLD FACTORY WITH A
TOURIST FUTURE.
THINKING OUT THE BOX
Our client wanted to find a new purpose for an empty factory near Paris. We helped create the concept, build the business model, and formulate a financial plan.
He has two passions; classic cars and reducing the unemployment crisis in the local community. So we thought. How great would it be to combine these two passions into a lucrative business that was also a valuable resource to the community?
In two short months, we had invented “The Classic Car Campus”… A place that would be a new tourist attraction place.
A studio that stores your classic cars (a big problem in Paris) and promotes education and jobs.
We created a space with the perfect environment for storing and caring for classic cars, from optimum temperature to state-ofthe art alarm systems. Vintage car owners can now safely keep their vehicles without the expense and impracticality of finding spaces on Parisian roads.
The “Campus” part?
Well, we made a school out of it. The old workshop became a place where students could learn about repairing, and caring for, classic cars.
We even expanded the project into providing accommodation, a dining room, and a clubhouse where students could socialize. Not only does this provide education and purpose to young people, but also jobs.
We have since built a showroom, events center, motel, and restaurant for visitors. (The project is currently in the process of government review).
