Our Story and History
Our retail design consultancy was founded in 1989 by Jean-Pierre Bobbaers, serving Belgian retail clients with 100’s of design projects from Brussels.
From 2000 onwards IMAGINIF expanded its clients base towards international retailers. Eastpak, Disney, Levi’s, Coca-Cola…and more.
In 2011, Jean-Pierre decided to let his international team work from home.
Since then IMAGINIF has executed projects in Belgium, France, Sweden, Denmark, Kuwait, Japan and Indonesia all delivered remotely.
IMAGINIF focusses on realising projects seamlessly and economically over the internet.

Dian Efendi
Creative Director
The Creative Director. With a degree in Graphic Design from the Banding Institute of Technology in Indonesia, Dian is an expert in his field. His skills range from brand building and design to creating social media video content with his recording studio. Born in Indonesia, Dian has specific knowledge and interest in Indonesian studies, history, and culture. Not only does he have technical expertise, Dian’s unique specialties, and relationship with founder Jean-Pierre, make him an instrumental part of the IMAGINIF team.

Jean-Pierre Bobbaers
Founder – Omni Architect
The Founder. As an interior & industrial designer, Jean-Pierre’s expertise ranges from consumer strategy to brand and business design. He has professional experience in design, retail analysis, business models, technology, digital marketing, and online presence. Born in Brussels to traveling world-wide, Jean-Pierre has a unique passion and knowledge of various cultures and international market strategies. He enjoys from to time to time to work as a digital nomad.

Filip Prpic
Architect
Filip is an architectural technician and Civil Engineer of Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek in Croatia. He has 7+ years experience in AutoCad drawings, 5+ years in SketchUp and a few years in 3DS max. He is our specialist in conceptual thinking, professional executed drawings and renderings. He is also very well informed with blockchain technology (he is a miner).

David Mccairley
Story Teller - Creative
David has worked with IMAGINIF since 2001 alongside a career in the creative industries spanning two decades in London, Paris and Brussels.
Providing IMAGINIF with copy-writing, image creation and conceptual development ( aka sparring with Jean-Pierre)
He has a degree in Philosophy and a masters in the Psychology of compulsive behaviour.

Ognjen Petrovic
Engineer - Photoshop Expert
Ognjen is a mechanical engineer, with focus on design. His photography business, which he has run for the past two years, specialises in image creation and manipulation from portraiture to building complete mock-ups and everything in between. His company is building an international client base and reputation alongside his work for IMAGINIF.

Dimitrije Kojić
Architect
An architect graduated from Belgrade University, with a master’s degree in architectural constructions. Proficient in CAAD software and 3D modeling. Enjoys travelling and experiencing different cultures, and has a working experience from various countries, like Ghana and Indonesia to name a few. Likes to read books and gathers peculiar useful/useless facts.
